Our Process

At Alder & Vale, we believe in transparency and craftsmanship. Here is how we work with you to restore or create your books.

1. Consultation

Submit an enquiry with details about your book. We will review your request and provide an initial assessment.

2. Quote & Deposit

We provide a detailed quote for the work. Once you are ready to proceed, a 40% deposit is required to secure your place in our studio schedule.

3. Craftsmanship

Our artisans begin the restoration or binding process, keeping you updated on the progress of your project.

4. Completion

Once finished, we notify you that your book is ready. The remaining 60% balance is settled upon collection or before shipping.
